Project Description:

This project focused on working collaboratively with a team of three to analyze Google Analytics data provided by our clients, the Rubin Museum of Art. Representatives from the Rubin Museum of Art met with our group to communicate their objectives for this project. Subsequently, we gained access to user survey data on GA and utilized Looker Studio to develop dashboard visualizations in order to gain insights. The client’s needs were a main priority in the completion of this project. As a team, we worked diligently to bring about the best findings and recommendations

Rational:

This project provided new challenges in regards to technology and research. I was able to gain key knowledge of two significant tools (Google Analytics & Looker Studio) in order to equip myself with the ability to complete the analysis of the data from the Rubin Museum of Art’s website and to supply insights. Our major goal was to interpret the qualitative and quantitative data collected and analyze it effectively to further understand the user profiles of the Rubin Museum of Art.

Method:

The methodology followed by the group is fully explained in the final evaluation report. However, to provide a summary, our group first worked on understanding the visitor survey data collected by segmented data gathered from the user survey in Google Analytics. Next, we connected this data source to Looker Studio in order to conduct further analysis, and finally we gathered findings and recommendations to present to the clients.

My Role:

This project was a team effort to conduct the analysis of user survey data from the Rubin Museum of Art’s website. Individually, I contributed to the executive report extensively and the overall project. I wrote the executive summary, methodology, final description of findings, and created the design for our dashboard which was developed using looker studio.
